We All Knew 04:01
We All Knew We always saw it coming We just didn’t know how We hoped there’d more warning But it’s upon us now We always saw it coming We just didn’t know when Tough times of the Great Depression Seem to be coming again We always saw it coming We just didn’t know where Livin’ & breathin’ & dyin’ Sometimes it’s too much to bear We always saw it coming We just didn’t know what Good things on the horizon After we get though this rut We always saw it coming We just couldn’t believe We’ve been makin’ big decisions Will we stay or leave We always saw it coming We just didn’t know how We hoped there’d be more warning

So many problems Let’s all solve them Everybody come together and find a way We can blame the president and the corrupt government We can blame a myriad of unpleasant things But we’re all the problem And we’re all the solution Everyone has a gift and part to play So many problem Let’s all solve them Everybody come together and find a way Life is a blessin’ So we gotta keep livin’ Gotta enjoy ourselves each and everyday But there’s always something Trying to keep us strugglin' but if we unify we can break the chains So many problems Let’s all solve them Everybody come together and find a way BRIDGE I know I’m not innocent I know that I’m pollutin’ every time I drive my car on the freeway But I’m always tryin’ and I keep recyclin’ anything to save us from a doomsday So many problems Let’s all solve them Everybody come together and find a way

I'm gonna fight 'em all A seven nation army couldn't hold me back They're gonna rip it off Taking their time right behind my back And I'm talking to myself at night Because I can't forget Back and forth through my mind Behind a cigarette And the message coming from my eyes Says leave it alone Don't want to hear about it Every single one's got a story to tell Everyone knows about it From the Queen of England to the hounds of hell And if I catch it coming back my way I'm gonna serve it to you And that ain't what you want to hear But that's what I'll do And the feeling coming from my bones Says find a home I'm going to Wichita Far from this opera for evermore I'm gonna work the straw Make the sweat drip out of every pore And I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding Right before the lord All the words are gonna bleed from me And I will sing no more And the stains coming from my blood Tell me go back home

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed Everybody knows that the war is over Everybody knows the good guys lost Everybody knows the fight was fixed The poor stay poor, the rich get rich That's how it goes Everybody knows Everybody knows that the boat is leaking Everybody knows that the captain lied Everybody got this broken feeling Like their father or their dog just died Everybody talking to their pockets Everybody wants a box of chocolates And a long stem rose Everybody knows Chorus Everybody knows that you love me baby Everybody knows that you really do Everybody knows that you've been faithful Ah give or take a night or two Everybody knows you've been discreet But there were so many people you just had to meet Without your clothes And everybody knows And everybody knows that the Plague is coming Everybody knows that it's moving fast Everybody knows that the naked man and woman Are just a shining artifact of the past Everybody knows the scene is dead But there's gonna be a meter on your bed That will disclose What everybody knows

Frustrated 02:40
I’m frustrated and I can’t explain why 'cause someone might come punch me in the eye Is that the truth or is it a lie? I’m frustrated and I can’t explain why Some are woke and some are asleep I’m not sure which is which In this pack of sheep I’d like to talk this out and keep the peace before we lose our freedom of speech They won’t let me work So I’m stuck here at home Sitting by myself all alone I’ve hit rock bottom and I’m turning into stone Trying to Date these girls through this telephone Verse 3 breakdown hoping for the best & preparing for the worst But I’m about to have a big outburst Feels like these times are hella cursed like we all might end up turning into dirt

People try to tell you what you gotta do don't you listen to them unless you think it's true follow your heart and your dreams I've been alive for a while now one thing that I know you gotta listen to your heart if you're gonna protect your soul there's a miracle man in the hospital couldn't even walk now he's walking down the hall

I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom, for me and you, And I think to myself, What a wonderful world. I see skies of blue and clouds of white, The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night And I think to myself, what a wonderful world [Bridge] The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky, Are also on the faces of people going by I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do They’re really saying I love you. I hear babies crying, I watch them grow They'll learn much more than I'll ever know, And I think to myself what a wonderful world
